Bermagui Fishermen’s Wharf
Architect Philip Cox designed the Bermagui Fishermen’s Wharf building, which was opened in December 2009. This outstanding building right on the harbour, is the place to go for fresh seafood, casual and fine dining plus shopping for art, gifts and fashion. Enjoy a meal and admire the view over the harbour and out to sea.
Bermagui is well known for its excellent fishing – both commercial and recreational. Since 1946 The Bermagui Fishing Co-op has been supplying the Sydney Fish Markets with fresh seafood – including flathead, ling, snapper, tuna, swordfish and shark. Fishermen’s Wharf is home to Bermagui's commercial fishing fleet and the Fisherman’s Co-op. The harbour has good facilities including a boat-launching ramp and trailer parking.
